All i want for christmas is to peek at phones with different OS

I just want to play with it for a while. I do not need to own them. Anybody who cares to show off their phones to me – Blackberry, Palm, Windows Mobile, Droid, Maemo(?), and others?

I want to see how these different mobile OS can fire a small gadget. How they can make multi-tasking a breeze or lousy in eeny weeny phones? How they handle the richness of graphics? Which OS has the coolest applications and so on and so forth?

tweetie 2 buy or not?

I just want to check what’s with it, and to try the feature which can save link to instapaper even offline. I have the first version tweetie which I do not really use. And, I do not really tweet much from ipod – touchscreen makes typing such an effort. Thus, I am having second thoughts of buying it. Though, it is only $2.99 or around 150 pesos, not really that bad.

Point is i am really really itching to know what is inside it. And, i do not see it a valid reason to spend 150 pesoses just to satisfy that itch.

i make my dream come true

you know how i sooo love my thoughts. I was hoping there is an automatic way to transmit my thoughts into my multiply without opening up a computer. If I were in a comic strip, thought balloons are probably popping up everywhere around me.

So now that @tweetitow can support SMS blogging, I can now automatically display my thoughts online while riding a jeep instead of just putting them in thought balloons which will just burst into the air after.

Owkei. The title was too much. i have to thank @tweetitow, @markjeee, and the rest who have been supportive with @tweetitow for making my dream come true. except for the multiply part. Multiply, you should open up your system now. =)

something i learned about today

that @markjeee created txblogr.com. It was a cms application, wayyyy back when ‘blogging’ started.

Anyhoo, I was using it before but I did not know he made it. So earlier while talking about sms blogging and textile, the txblogr.com was brought up. And, i told him i was happy that txblogr is dead because i had my corniest blog on that website. So he told me he created that txblogr.

Just one of those funny moments. Anyhoo, it looks like it will be brought to life again.

I believe it was Globe who started offering P20/website for 24 hours. Then, now Smart has made their counter-offer of P20/website (correct me if I’m wrong). Sun’s offer is P50/whatever website for 24 hours too. Is spending P20/50 for 24-hour surfing really worth it? I am not really a big fan of ‘unlimited’ promos for the reason that some things are cut off so that businesses can still profit from it. But I guess, if you really have nothing better to do then P20 for 24hours of facebook-ing is a good deal. Hopefully, a lot will happen in your facebook page during your 24-hour surfing.
